Welcome to my newsletter!

I bought my first stock in 2008. It was an incredibly stressful process. The decision felt so important and irreversible. Yet I was filled with optimism and wonder about this new world of investing. This would mark the beginning of a journey of successes and failures, a journey of calm and chaos, and a journey of action and patience. Most importantly, it was a journey of learning. Learning from super-investors (the whales) taught me invaluable lessons about investing and life. In 2024, I met Warren Buffett at the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting. His words stuck with me, “If you are lucky in life, make sure a bunch of other people are lucky too”. I started to think how. And this newsletter was born.

I have never posted anything on social media. I thought it would be arrogant to think of myself as an ‘expert’ on anything. What I am, though, is a student. And this newsletter would be my way of sharing my notes. I am constantly learning and evolving, and so are all the super-investors. There is much to gain by studying their actions, by studying their patterns, and by studying their mistakes.

I welcome you to join me in this lifelong quest for knowledge. A quest for meaning. A quest for the wisdom of the whales.
